GAD

Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) states Generalized Anxiety Disorder is “anxiety and worry that is excessive and difficult to control and that occurs more days than not for a period of at least 6 months.” GAD also includes symptoms of fatigue, restlessness, irritability, sleep disturbances, decreased concentration and memory, and muscle tension.

This is what my doctor has diagnosed me with. I will be seeing either a psychiatrist or family therapist soon, hopefully to get a more clear answer for what is wrong with me. I know how I have felt for the last couple weeks, and I know that there are people out there who have it worse than I do. Hats off to you folks. The struggle is REAL!!!
